· An interesting story about a MacBook that shuts down randomly. It is an interesting phenomena, it sounds like something Microsoft developed, however it has nothing to do whit them, anyway it is a nasty bug, it need’s fixing.

· I found an interesting article about new encrypting systems, that aloe more compression of the file that means more space available. It is interesting.

· I found a very great article about windows updates. Just don’t do it because it messes the whole system up. It is a very useful advice.

On pc-magazine you will find a very interesting article about the 10 biggest technology flops, and I mean it when I say it is worth it to read the story.

I was amazed by how many, I don’t know what to name them, things are capable a people to do. You know how would you use your USB port. Now I was just amazed by how would someone that has a imagination but has no idea of what to use whit the USB ports would use it. You should see pc-magazines article it is amazing.

On pc-magazines webpage you can also find a great article about HD-TV’s. It is explained there more explicit, if you want to know about it more, but I say only this about it. It is better than your old TV.

Microsoft is getting more and more disliked by every day that passes and they don’t try to be more reasonable about it. For help us nut to feel bad about this they are just unbelievable. Anyway for more you should visit pc-world.

For those that are fan of Mp3 players my advice is to read this article on pc-world. You will find the best Mp3 players that are worth it the money that you are willing to spend on them.

I wont comment the article about Microsoft Office because you all know that Microsoft is the key world in that so you should read the article on pc-world.

I just couldn’t read whiteout a smile the article in which I found out that Microsoft launched an upgrade for the latest version of windows, Vista. I just couldn’t stop wandering why he did this uninspired move that only a couple of weeks after its release, Vista is needed to be upgraded. I just am amazed how they try to get more money out of people by a omitting some key features out of the program and after a while they release it as a upgrade to that. I don’t know what to say about this it is just so Microsoft. Anyway if you are interested in the upgrade you should visit pc-world.

I found great article about HD-DVD laptops, which are just lunched, on pc-magazine. It is cool that you can see now high definition movies from a laptop, it is amazing where can lead a battle between HD-DVD and Blu-ray, to a whole new generation laptops that can satisfy the thirst of perfection of even the most picky people. I think that they made a new path that needs to be explored and paved, so I am convinced that this is just the beginning of a tremendous development.

Pc-world has a great top 10 list of the best 19” LCD monitors, and I must say that they had a good look at the competitors because they picked out them very well. I advice you to take a look at them and compare them whit the one you are willing to buy it and just try to buy a LCD monitor that has at least half of these monitors performance. Anyway they are the best, so they have their price to.

A cool article appeared on pc-magazine about “Dual Phones”, from which you can call almost anything. The telecommunication industry just tried to make a phone which can be accessed from almost any type of communication system, and also you can access from it anything, you can even make calls to pc. Anyway it is a great thing, but if you want to find out more you should visit pc-magazine.

An unusual article is in the top at pc-world. I don’t know if it’s worth it mentioning but it is about the worst 10 games of history, but I find it just superficial, so I’ll just leave it to be.

For the I-pods 5^th anniversary there is an interesting article about it on the above mentioned page. There are the five questions that lead to the development of the I-pod, and there are the answers to them. The great thing is that it is written why is the I-pod great and why it had to be made. You should read this article.

Mozilla isn’t letting Microsoft to take him out from the competition so as a reply for Microsoft’s Internet explorer 7 on October the 24^th he is launching his new Firefox browser. He is a serious competition for Microsoft, because he does a great job on Firefox, I just like it better than Internet Explorer, and it is easier to use, and it has some great features.

On pc-world you’ll find an invitation to write down the most things that you miss, about the pc era. It will be fun to read when the list of the 30 things that we miss the most will be ready. It is fun to think back at the old times when we where typing the dos commands that some of us newer forgot it. You should ad your opinion to the article it’ll be cool.

On pc-magazine is a great article about how to make your windows XP to run faster, and increase your productivity. If you are trying to get some bugs out of windows XP it is a great article to read. For those who are new to these kind of things I advice you to make a backup of your system in case you do something wrong, or if you can’t do that either you should just leave your windows as it is it’s much safer that way.

Pc-world has some great articles:

· You will find a top of the freakiest websites on the net. There are some quite mad sites, which are just sick. I am amazed by the things that some people are capable of.

· Along the above mentioned sad story you will find a more interesting story. It is about the history of the PC according to the TV Ads. It is quite funny, but of course only if you know something about it, if you don’t know it will seam normal, but that is wrong than.

· A great article, which should be read, is about the brand new gadgets that appeared on the market. This is a very good article, and it contains some information about the newly appeared gadgets. There are some great things like the Nintendo Wii, or the Windows Mobile Phone or so much more.

· Microsoft released the Virtual Hard Drive which will allow to run different software systems simultaneously. I just couldn’t believe my eyes when I was reading this, Microsoft just turned 180 degrees, it is unbelievable.

· There is an article about the new windows Vista’s transfer rights, that is just lame, so I wont write more about it.

About pc-magazine I can’t say anything because it has a delay whit the information so it’s just old.

Pc world

There has been made the first Quad-Core pc and it is shown for the public. The new Quad-Core Xeon 5300 is aiming for the small offices and home offices, but I don’t know in which offices you would need a pc like that and a normal pc won’t do the job, there are a few but not so many. But anyway it is better so it is more expensive, a lot more, so it is marketing statistic that new software’s and games will appear that require the new Xeon core, and it will become a usual PC in a couple of years, so you should start saving.

The new firefox appeared from Mozilla, it is a good edition, this open-source browser is most likely the best one on the market. You can’t compare it whit Microsoft’s Internet-explorer because the last one just doesn’t live up to the expectation.

On pc-world you will find a top of the all-purpose laptops, if you are interested in laptops I advice you to see it because it is a great story. You must know that you can buy laptops for different purposes so if you want a laptop for a special use you should consult a professional about picking one for your needs, that way you will not end up whit an useless gadget which is sitting on your desk.

All these and more you will find on pc-world or on pc-magazine but the last one is poorly updated, and it isn’t so explicit.

There are some great stories on pc-world like these:

· Intel will lunch on November 13 the new processor-types. It is called the Quad-Core processor, and as I hope it won’t let me down. I was never let down by Intel so I am looking forward for the new core.

· Palm lunched their new product, it is supposed to be more accessible, and has some Google-maps included. It is a hybrid between a palmtop and a mobile phone. I would want to see how they reduced its cost?

· Dell is expanding his market area by manufacturing multimedia printers, displays and TVs. I don’t know how to get this either dell is going thru a bad phase, or I don’t see why he must expand his market area.

· If you are interested in some great photo printers you should visit pc-world they have a great top 5 ranking. This is a good ranking, it involves the price to, so I advice for those in this domain to see this article.

On pc-mag you have a great story about digital life whit great new gadgets, shown and some new technologies explained, so you should se this. However they don’t have anything else new on their page, they should try harder.

The computer

For the Gothic fans I have to announce that Gothic III will appear on 13.10.2006. I don’t know what to say I just can’t wait to be able to play it, and also appeared a movie which is about Gothic I but also contains new passages of text by the Hero and Xardas, and also has some game-scenes. I advice all of those who are willing to play the game for the first time to see the movie, or play the game from the first Gothic to the 3^rd one. The new walkman’s digital music players are being updated whit I-pod technologies, so I think in a few months there will be a whole flood of new I-pod’s, and walkmans, so it will be interesting to watch this rivalry which was lunched by Sony against Apple. I am foresee a great technology breakthrough because of the new “war”, so I wouldn’t buy just know a walkman or an I-pod because I think that in a couple of months you could by for the same money a better one.

A new mapping software appeared but I don’t know how great it is because you need a laptop or a PDA to operate it and it isn’t so accurate either, so I would advice you to take a traditional map to. And one more thing it was made by Microsoft, so I don’t trust it.

There is an interesting story about the new generation of pc-s on pc-world that you must se, it is a great breakthrough.

You-Tube is whit Google now. I don’t know if this is such a good idea but google chose it, I hope wisely. I don’t know if it will be a great profit to google but they paid $1.6 billion, so it must worth something.

The new windows is lunched in the beta version, windows vista. I wont just run out and buy it just yet because I have a feeling that it is a wrong version and there will be a third release of vista, that will have some bugs but far less than this one.

There is a good question about that you can buy a PC for $450? I must say that you can but I must advice you not to do it because you will regret it for the rest of your life why didn’t you spent more money on the PC.

There is a great article about windows compromising the security in vista. McAfee accuses Microsoft for compromising the security in the new version of windows, but as you could deduce Microsoft denies.

As mobile-phones software is more and more similar to windows, I must say that it slowly takes the windows abilities to. They become more and more instabile.

I just found out that that Philips issued the new 42-ich LCD TV, HDTV which has a new improved ambilight. I just imagine how cool it could be to sit in front of it and see a good soccer game, but I must say that I “could be” because the ambilight is upgraded from the latest version but the image quality just lets you down, they could’ve done something better, Philips just let me down.

I always knew that I can’t trust laptops because, they just let you down when you needed them the most. I just read that there are some new laptops that last, but I am pretty skeptic about this, I don’t think I can trust them. I ha a few bad adventures whit them.

I just saw a great list that just must be seen, it is the list of the worst products of Q3. On the first place I am happy to announce it sits a laptop. And after that there are some great companies whit some quite interesting products. It is worth it to see it on PC Magazine.

I must say that I played Just Cause and that game is just great. I am very pleased whit the graphics and I am more pleased whit the game play and the AI is very good defined. It is way beyond GTA and it is a great competition whit the new GTA.

PC news

As the informatics world is developing day by day it is amazing that it grows in the other industries to. Now we just can’t imagine some kind of industry in which we don’t find the computer.

As I sad the pc is developing very fast, and very unpredictably. However the new things they come up whit not always are good.

Dual layer DVD writers are new and very useful gadgets. I think that it is very important that a man should put a lot of stuff on a single DVD. I think that it is amazing that you can put up to 8,5 GB on a single disc that is so small and easy to handle. However this is a great storage-capacity I think that this is not the limit, it could be developed further more and the storage-capacity can be enlarged.

I just saw a great game that is just very amazing, that has a rely good game-play and which was not produced by piranha bites or EA games, it is produced by eidos. I think that this is a great game. I am looking forward for playing it. If you want to lern something about this game you should visit Just Cause’s webpage.

I read on pc-world that the new windows had 22 bugs and they just fixed 2 of them after 2 months of work. That is a breakthrough (lol). I am familiar whit this, I newer saw a windows in which there were no bugs. I don’t know if it is even possible to correct them, they should start by rewriting the kernel, or they should make the source code public so some people who know more than they should correct it for them.

Al’s PC World-Page

This is a page dedicated to PC. Here I am posting some news and comets about both hardware and software. I will tell you right from the start I am an Intel fan. I don’t know why but I just don’t like AMD. I always had an Intel processor and I newer had anything whit them, they just worked fine. That I couldn’t tell about AMD, because my friends had AMD’s and they all regretted it. They are just not reliable.

After the appearance of the PCI Express the visual effects just boosted high up. The visual effects from last years games cannot be compared whit the new generation of games that are just so realistic that it blows you away.

However they boosted a great deal whit the graphics, the games are getting worse. I newer saw so many rubbish games published. They are stunningly realistic from the graphics point of view but for the game-play, logics, and fun parts they suck. The new generation of games are based on the fact that you don’t think, you don’t do anything else than go forward and soot everyone who meet along the way. I met a few games whit real strategy and which made you think, and they just glued you to the seat as Gothic. I newer saw a more complex game than that. There was Gothic, then Gothic II, and if everything goes well it will bee this month Gothic III. If you like RPG-s and you like to use your brain while playing, I advise you to play the games, starting from the first one, it is a delight. I you like games you should click the following link: pc-games. I don’t know how many cool games will you find there but there are a few among the rubbish ones.

I advice you to look for games that where made by: EA Games and Piranha Bytes they rarely make rubbish games. There are a few other game-producers that made some good games but these 2 rarely let you down.
